About Bent Goblin Press

Bent Goblin Press started out as a New Year's Resolution for 2022 to (1) develop a style for laying out adventures that allows the game master get all information needed for preparing and running the adventure at a single glance and (2) publish something using that style.

The name Bent Goblin was chosen as an acknowledgment of the fact that our perception of goblins has changed -- not all of them are created evil. To the contrary, there are truly admirable goblin societies -- if you don't believe this, I refer you to Terry Pratchett's wonderful novel Snuff.

On the other hand, there is a bad apple in every basket ... and sometimes we want evil and fiendish goblins in our adventures. This is, where the bent goblin (as in the bent cop) comes in. The bent goblin, with diamond tooth and always smoldering cigar, sits in his lair and directs his minions against your brave adventurers (some of whose adventures might in future be penned by Bent Goblin Press ...)

So far, Bent Goblin Press has a single publication under its belt: Bent Goblin's Companion to Dragonlance: Scales of War That one was not exactly a huge success, but hey, if you fall, you get up, dust yourself off and start running again. Current work on "Release from the OGL Vault" is progressing nicely: have a look at the developer's diary or sign up to stay informed!
